About Me

Hello there.

I’m Erika.

Among many things, I love worship, music, art, good food, words, and beauty. And I find people to be the most beautiful things that exist.

Here’s my life story in a very small nutshell:

Raised in a Christian home, I accepted the Lord into my heart as a young child, and felt the call to international missions around age 8. After a trip to Israel with my home church in 2012 and graduating from college in 2013, I felt confident in pursuing the call to international missions.

From September 2013 to July 2014, I went on the World Race, a missions journey going to 11 countries in 11 months run by the organization Adventures in Missions. I partnered with a variety of ministries during this outreach. From children’s ministry to red light bar ministry, door to door evangelism to teaching English, I was blessed to see many lives saved, healed, baptized, and set free.

From January to November 2015, I served as a leader for two different World Race groups. Traveling with them to many different nations, I led by example and discipled them along the way.

In June of 2016, I began partnering with the World Race in a new way: I moved to Gainesville, GA, where the headquarters of Adventures in Missions is located, and became a World Race Squad Mentor. From Georgia, I oversee World Race squads and help steer their discipleship process as they build the Kingdom of God all around the world. My time is divided between headquarters in Georgia and the nations where teams I oversee are currently serving.

To date, I have preached the gospel and spread the love of Christ in over 30 countries. I’m passionate about helping people walk in freedom and making Earth look more like Heaven. As long as I have breath and wherever I am, I intend to make Jesus known, while growing to know Him more, all around the world.
